Apple and blackberry chia jam

Is there anything more autumnal than Apple and blackberry EVERYTHING?!! ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ



I love making this apple and blackberry jam with added chia from @thechiaco for added goodness!! ๐Ÿ˜



You need –

200g blackberries, rinsed .

2 apples, peeled and chopped .

1 shot chia .

1 -2 tbsp maple syrup .

2 tbsp water .


Add all Ingredients, apart from the chia seeds to a pan, bring to the boil and simmer until apples are soft and reduced.


Mash the mixture down with a potato masher or back of a fork


Remove from heat


Add chia shot – mix well


Transfer to @ballpreservinguk jars


Set in fridge for at least 4 hours or over night .

Enjoy!!! .

This is perfect on toast or stirred into warming porridge and topped with chopped apples and fresh blackberries ๐Ÿ˜

You can use any fruit at all! I often use blueberries on their own with the syrup and chia seeds – delish
